Who we are

Our mission and vision

EASUN’s vision is a civil society equipped with values and strategies to advocate for peoples' rights in workplaces and communities.

EASUN's mission is to create spaces within which individuals, groups, organisations and communities creatively learn to build a better history and new ways of thinking about and taking ethical action to transform practices and livelihoods.

EASUN facilitates organisation development for CSOs to become aware of their values and vision as the basis for their ethical growth and effectiveness. To this end, EASUN offers leadership training, change management support and other activities for institutional development of civil society organisations in East Africa.

Beneficiaries from EASUN's institutional development support to CSOs include street children, people living with HIV/AIDS, small scale farmers, women's groups and the marginalised poor who are better served by organisations facilitated by EASUN to transform their practices and embrace ethical leadership, empowered participation of men and women, and equity in governance systems, service delivery and advocacy.
