Transforming organisational practices
Toward the end of their training, participants in "cycle K" of FOD (Facilitating Organisational Development) course wrote letters encouraging their friends to consider joining subsequent cycles of the training. Japhary shared his discovery that attending FOD enables your personal transformation and equips you with skills to make interventions that create movement in stuck organisational situations. Vicky highlighted her new abilities as a leader who consciously and artfully supports the development of teamwork in her organisation. Edna noted how the course had made her a good team performer, a skilled facilitator and change agent.
FOD is offered by EASUN to equip leaders and senior programme staff of civil society organisations with skills and knowledge for facilitating conscious development of organisations. These include the use of tools for diagnosing organisational questions and skills for developing structures, systems, teams and processes that transform organisations to become learning spaces and more effective mediators of human and social development.
The next cycle (N) of FOD course will run in three modules of one week each, between August 2010 and March 2011.
